Applications have been invited for Common Entrance Test (CUCET- 2011) to be held on June 18-19 for admission to the following undergraduate, PG and research programmes conducted in seven central universities including Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod. Online application facilities will be provided up to June 2. Offline application forms will be distributed from May 10 onwards.

KAU: PG
entrance test
The Kerala Agricultural University has invited applications for admission to the following PG and Ph.D. programmes for the year 2011. The selection is on the basis of entrance test and academic merit.
M.Sc. programmes in agriculture, horticulture, and agricultural statistics, home science (food science and nutrition). Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in the respective discipline with at least 50 per cent marks. B.Sc. agriculture and B.Sc. horticulture will be treated as equal for admission purpose.
Admission to M.Sc. agricultural economics is restricted to basic degree holders in agriculture. B.Sc. degree holders in mathematics / statistics with at least 50 per cent marks will also be considered for admission to M.Sc. degree course in agricultural statistics.
M.Sc. degree course in co-operation and banking. Eligibility: any degree from Kerala Agricultural University / equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks.
M.Sc. forestry
Eligibility: A basic degree in forestry / agriculture / horticulture / B.V.Sc & AH with at least 50 per cent marks.
M.Tech. degree course in agricultural engineering. Eligibility: Graduation in agricultural engineering with at least 50 per cent marks.
Ph.D. programmes in eleven agriculture / related disciplines
Eligibility: Master's degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50 per cent marks.
Those appearing for final qualifying degree examinations can also apply.
Application fee for Master's degree programmes is Rs.750 and for Ph.D. programmes, Rs.1,000. The application fee shall be paid by way of demand draft drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Kerala Agricultural University, payable at the SBT, KAU Campus Branch, Vellanikkara.
